It was Sir Isaac Newton that anglicised the expression “If I have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.” 

I believe that the social responsibility of the artist grows in proportion to the platform he/she stands on.  

In efforts to further my reach, I study the works of those whom I feel can broaden and raise my platform.
