My method of teaching is a synthesis of styles observed throughout my studies. I believe that our task as educators isn’t to always tell the student what, or how to play, but instead to impart onto them the skills necessary to make thoughtful and convincing musical decisions. My goal is to create well-rounded musicians who are both technically fluent on their instruments as well as being globally aware of their potential impact as artists. Achieving this will result in a performer who isn’t bound by technical limitations, but is instead free to express their artistic ideas.
Teaching is learning. Learning is teaching.
In-person, Group, and Skype Lessons Available

Payment: Payments are to be made via the store immediately after appointment date and time have been agreed upon or with cash immediately following an in-person lesson.
Skype Lesson: Internet connection will be established five (5) minutes prior to scheduled lesson time.
Please make sure you are situated in a place with a strong and constant internet connection.
Whenever possible, please try to use the best audio input and output devices at your disposal. Being that this is an auditory art form, it would benefit us both to be able to communicate through as close to a “real” sound as possible.
Be proactive in setting up your electronic devices well before the start of our lesson time.
Communication is key
All cancellations will be dealt with on a case by case basis. As long as communication has been done so diligently, cancellations and refunds should not be an issue.
Skype: If we experience continuous internet connection issues during the first ten (10) to fifteen (15) minutes of a lesson, student can choose to either reschedule the lesson or receive a seventy-five (75) percent refund.
Skype & In-Person: If student does not attend the scheduled lesson within the initial fifteen (15) minutes, lesson will automatically be cancelled and, if pre-paid, no refund will be issued.
If student does not attend scheduled lesson within the initial fifteen (15) minutes, lesson will automatically be cancelled, if lesson has not been pre-paid, a lesson invoice will be sent via email to the student or guardian.
Skype & In-Person: In the event I need to cancel a scheduled lesson, the student may choose to either reschedule the lesson, or receive a full refund.
Skype & In-Person: Students may not cancel a pre-paid scheduled lesson. Lessons may be rescheduled if done at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson start time.
